Enlightenment Text on LPPD

Introduction

As Dream Project Organisation Fuarcılık ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi (referred to as “Dream Project” or “We”), we have issued this Enlightenment Text on LPPD in relation to the personal data that we process as part of your attendance at the Istanbul Tourism Fair as a visitor. Dream Project processes your personal data in accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“Law”) as the data controller.

How to obtain your personal data?

We obtain your personal data by automatic methods through the Visitor Registration Form that you filled out on our website.

Which personal data do we process?

As Dream Project, the categories of personal data we process under the Enlightenment Text and the details of the processed data is given below:

  • Your Identity Details:Your name and surname
  • Your Contact Details:Your country and city, e-mail address
  • Your professional experience:The name of the company you work for, the sector in which it operates and your title in the company

For what purposes and on what legal grounds do we process your personal data?

We process your personal data in order to fulfil your request to participate in the Istanbul Tourism Fair as a visitor, based on the legal ground that ‘it is directly necessary or relevant for the establishment and performance of the contract’ in accordance with subparagraph (c) of paragraph 2 of Article 5 of the Law.

We also process your identity and contact details for contacting you to inform you about future projects by getting your explicit consent pursuant to paragraph 1 of Article 5 of the Law.

For what purposes and with whom can we share your personal data?

Your personal data is transferred to the event and content management service providers from whom we procure these services and whose servers are located abroad to organise the event.

Also, we transfer your data to the e-mail service provider from whom we provide the infrastructure in order to confirm your visitor capacity by confirming the Visitor Registration Form you have filled out via e-mail.

What are your rights concerning your personal data and how can you exercise these rights?

You, as a personal data subject, have many rights with respect to your personal data pursuant to Article 11 of the Law. This section provides information about the rights you enjoy and how you can exercise them.

The rights you enjoy pursuant to Article 11 of the Law are as follows:

  • To learn whether your personal data are processed by us or not,
  • To request information if your personal data are processed by us,
  • To learn the purposes for which we process your personal data and whether your personal data is used for intended purposes,
  • To know the third parties to whom we have transferred your personal data at home or abroad,
  • To request rectification of your personal data if we have processed it incompletely or inaccurately, and request third parties to whom we have transferred your personal data to be notified of such rectifications,
  • Despite being processed under the provisions of the Law and provisions of other laws, to request the erasure or destruction of your personal data upon the disappearance of reasons which require the processing and request notification of the operations carried out in respect thereof to third parties to whom his personal data has been transferred,
  • To object to the processing, exclusively by automatic means, of your personal data, which leads to an unfavourable consequence for the data subject,
  • To request compensation for the damage arising from the unlawful processing of your personal data.

To exercise your rights listed above, you can apply by the following means in accordance with the “Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller”.

As a principle, the applications of the data subject are responded to free of charge; however, we reserve the right to charge you a fee according to the tariff to be set by the Personal Data Protection Board in case any further costs are incurred.

Photo And Video Recording Privacy Notice

In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), as Dream Project Organizasyon Fuarcılık ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi ("Data Controller"), we would like to inform you about your personal data processed within the scope of the Istanbul Tourism Fair.

  1. Processed Personal Data Your visual and audio data (photos and video recordings), either as general or close-up shots, will be processed in the event area by our assigned photographers and videographers during the event.
  2. Purposes of Processing Personal Data Your collected personal data will be processed limited to the following purposes:
  • Archiving, promoting, and announcing the event to the public,
  • Publishing on our company's social media accounts (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.), website, and corporate printed materials,
  • Carrying out post-event reporting and corporate communication activities.
  1. Method and Legal Ground of Personal Data Collection Your personal data is collected through automatic methods via digital cameras and video cameras in the event area. The data in question is processed based on:
  • For General/Crowd Shots: The legal ground of "Data processing is mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller" pursuant to Article 5/2-f of the KVKK,
  • For Close-up/Focus Shots and Promotional Shares: The legal ground of your "Explicit Consent" pursuant to Article 5/1 of the KVKK.
  1. Transfer of Personal Data In line with the realization of the purposes stated above, your personal data may be transferred abroad (based on your explicit consent) due to the infrastructure servers of social media platforms being located abroad, and to our relevant business partners, suppliers, and legally authorized public institutions.
  2. Your Rights Under Article 11 of the KVKK Pursuant to Article 11 of the Law, by applying to the data controller, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information if processed, to request the deletion or correction of data, and to object to the processing.
